Let's Talk Prizes!

Happy New Year! Hopefully the winter break was a great time to practice your music skills, write a song, or even form a band. So far we haven't had any entrees for the Battle of the Bands or Open MIKE contests, which means if you enter at this point your odds of winning will be pretty good. If you happen to be the only entree then you automatically win! We have some great prizes for our school competition but what do you win if you move to the next level?

Here is a breakdown of the prizes for both competitions at the next levels. 

Multi-Regional at Northridge High

Battle of the Bands:

1st place: $200

2nd place: $100

3rd place: $50

Fan Favorite: $50

Possible free recording sessions for winners

Open Mike:

1st place: $100

2nd place: $50

3rd place: $25

Fan Favorite: $25

State Prizes 

Battle of the Bands:

1st place: $500

2nd place: $250

3rd place: $125

Fan Favorite: $75

SLCC will provide a free recording session to the top 3 bands 

Open Mike:

1st place: $200

2nd place: $100

3rd place: $50
