  2023 Layton High PTSA Battle of the Bands & Open MIKE Competition WELCOME! Welcome to this year's competition hosted by the LHS PTSA , and sponsored by the Utah PTA ,  Riverton Music ,  Raising Cane's and the Davis Catalyst Center !  Please take a moment to follow us on Instagram @laytonhighbob where we will announce updates throughout the year and post updates on the musical journeys of our contestants.  A huge THANK YOU to Layton High admin, staff, and all of our volunteers which includes the Layton High PTSA Student Board, Legacy Jr. High Student Board, members of the the Layton High PTSA, Legacy Jr. High PTSA, Shoreline Jr. High and Central Davis PTSA. Promo During Lunch Tomorrow!

 Tomorrow (Thursday) we will have a table set up in the commons during lunch. If you have already bought tickets or if you buy tickets during lunch come over to the table and show us your ticket confirmation and we will enter you into our drawing for a Raising Cane's gift card! We'll draw the winner at the end of lunch.  Also, we'll be promoting the contestants and their music as well as anyone who wants to come over and promote their musical talents. We'll have a mic and speaker set up karaoke style!  If you go over to our Instagram page @laytonhighbob and share our QR code ticket post in your stories with hashtag #lhsbob you will be entered into an additional drawing for a Raising Cane's gift card. We'll announce the winners tomorrow.  Good luck!

This year's competition is going to be epic! We have so many updates and announcements rolling in that it just made sense to finally start an Instagram page. This is where we'll be posting fun perks and giveaways so you don't want to miss out!  Another reason to follow us on Instagram - we plan to post updates about our winners as well future updates about our contestants. Yes, even if you don't move on in the competition we still have your back! We also suggest that you scroll down through the previous posts to read all the helpful info and updates we post regularly. Click "more posts" at the bottom of the page to see older posts. We understand that not everyone watches the video or reads through the posts, so we have decided address some common questions that keep coming up. 1) How do I enter? Look for the icon at the top left of this website. Click on it for a drop down menu where all the links will appear in blue. Below the links you will see "How to Enter" instructions along with the email to send your entry to. Follow the instructions. We are so excited to have four of our judges returning from last year! They cover a wide spread of genres and bring a wealth of knowledge and professional experience to the table ranging from performance, songwriting, vocals, percussion, guitar and more.
