Emory Bradshaw is 16 and she’s a junior. She started performing in musical theatre when she was in second grade, and hasn’t stopped since. She loves sharing stories and emotion through music. Today she’ll be singing for her two friends Bridger Johnson and Kendal Weight who passed away within a little less than a year of each other. This song is traditionally performed with a guitar, but Bridger and Kendal both played the piano, so in honor of them, she is going to as well.

She hopes to pursue a career in music production & vocal performance and hopes to study at Berklee College of Music. Members Mckay, Tyler, Teague, Josh, and Ricky have grown up together since elementary school. During the summer of senior year, we adopted Christian and Eli. It all started when we were hanging out one night and McKay and Ricky started a jamming on the guitar and drums, and from there we created 10 Under.
We’ve played at events such as McKay’s Garage, one of the most prestigious venues in Utah. Follow us on Instagram @ 10 Under Band to support the boys!
Ashley Golightly
"To Tomorrow" by Ashley Golightly
My name is Ashley Golightly. I am a senior this year, and I am going to perform a song that I originally wrote when I was in seventh grade. I have since improved this song and changed it so it is much better, in my opinion. I have been writing songs for several years now, and I have put three of them on my SoundCloud. I have performed my music in front of people a number of times, including last year’s open mic contest.
Music is a huge part of my life because it is one of my favorite creative outlets for my emotions, and I think this is one of the coolest things about it. Even though most of my music is incredibly depressing and dark, I enjoy it and believe it is an important part in life. This song is less dark than other songs I’ve written, and I hope you enjoy, “To Tomorrow.”
Gwendolyn Norton
"Time" by Gwendolyn Norton
Gwen loves music! She has been singing since she could talk and drives her family nuts with her constant singing. She even got a shirt from her sister that says, “Warning: Spontaneously Bursts into Song”. Gwen has performed in choirs and orchestras at Abravanel Hall, Disneyland, SLC Tabernacle, the Assembly Hall, at State Competitions and many other locations. She wrote the song, "Time", and it is the first song she has written that she has actually finished. "Time" was written to inspire people to enjoy every moment that they have with the people that they love and to look for ways they can be grateful, even when they are gone.
Green House
"Salad Days" by Mac DeMarco - "Color" by Green House
Green House is a 4-piece band that formed in early 2022. They currently have two singles out, “Annual Vinca” and “Color” and are only planning on releasing more. All of their music is recorded and produced completely independently in Gabe’s basement studio. With their alternative and indie rock influences, their music will make you think to yourself… nice. Follow them on Instagram @green.house.band
Rylee Jo Smith
"Elastic Heart" by Sia
Rylee absolutely loves music and singing, and has ever since she was a little girl. She sings from her heart, with all her heart. She loves writing music, teaching herself how to play new instruments and making other people happy with her music. She has performed her original songs for many. Music is in her bones and such a big part of her life. She doesn’t know where she’d be without it!
Tanner Larsen
"You are the Reason" by Callum Scott
My name is Tanner Larsen and I'm a senior at Layton High. I learned to play the piano when I was 8 years old and also learned that I loved playing music but I was never very enthusiastic about performing for people. I grew up in a musically inclined home which allowed me to discover my love of singing at a very early age.

POOLHOUSE
Poolhouse was created by childhood best friends Jake Buckner, Jonny Steed, and Lucas Olivier, all of whom have specialized in and studied music from a young age. Jake left middle school to tour as a drum tech with the Neon Trees, managed by his Father/interim drummer, John. This sparked his love for live music which eventually led to the birth of Poolhouse in 2019.
Shortly after Poolhouse was formed the quarantine began and the dreams of live performance were shut down after only 1 show. Living together in quarantine with no hope of performance in sight, they curated a love of songwriting/production thus creating the “Blue-EP”. Finding their sound in a depressing time, this EP showcases catchy guitar hooks with punching bass and drums. The feel-good summer vibe is contrasted with melancholy pop vocals, mirroring their ability to make the best of a bad situation.
By the time quarantine restrictions were lifted, Poolhouse returned to the stage with a perfectly polished live show. Their first performance at the famous Kilby Court in Salt Lake City attracted the attention of the local suicide prevention organization, Stand4Kind. After witnessing the undeniable crowd response to their energetic live show, Poolhouse was invited to play events all around the nation. This opportunity allowed the band to quit their day jobs and place music as their sole focus, improving their stage presence and energy with live shows almost daily.
Increasing popularity and demand led to the inevitable creation of their 2nd EP, “Tape Machine”. Teaming again with Grammy-nominated producer, Nate Pyfer, and legendary mixing engineer Chris Coady, a more mature, thought-provoking batch of songs was born. This EP refined their sound by blending experimental synths, driving bass, and rich guitar tones, carefully crafted into radio-ready retro pop hits.
With the next batch of songs already in production, Poolhouse dives deeper into an ever- evolving sound. In promotion of current music and building the anticipation of their next release, 2023 will be the biggest year of touring yet.
