Today was too much fun. Karaoke was a hit! Students sang for free pizza from Hungry Howies and free tickets to Battle of the Bands. Students who bought tickets to Battle of the Bands also got free pizza. We partnered with Happy Hope Week for a fun hour of lunch. Thanks to Riverton Music for providing the sound system and thanks to everyone who participated or cheered from the side lines. We just love how fun, brave, and amazing LHS students are. You guys rock!  As promised here is the links for the judging and scoring. All contestants will want to review this so they are aware of what they are being scored on. https://www.utahpta.org/files/docs/Battle%20of%20the%20Band%20Judging%20Rules.pdf https://www.utahpta.org/files/docs/Battle%20of%20the%20Bands%20-%20Scoring%20sheet%202023-2024.docx

It's official! Here's the list of entries. Now we can have a battle! Who's excited? Contestants mark your calendar for Monday the 22nd @ 7:30pm for a mandatory Zoom meeting. Check your email and texts for the details.

Urgent Info for Contestants!

There has been some confusion with the application. Open Mic and Battle of the Bands share the same application. The state panel has worded everything as "Battle of the Bands" but it's the same application for Open Mic. There's only one button, one link, one application, for all applicants. We have emailed some of the current applicants who have incomplete applications and their email account has rejected rejected our email. We also made an effort to text them and their parents and have had zero reply.  Please take the time to look over your application even it it says "approved" . The school PTSA approved some applications prematurely and have since learned that the state PTSA has the final approval. Be sure to look through all six steps of your application and make sure nothing is missing! Don't procrastinate. Friday night at midnight is the cutoff . If your lyrics or songs aren't approved your application will be rejected. Be sure to complete ever...
